“Would You Rather?” With Katie Pye
We’ve reached the end of August and it’s been a great month with featured Author Katie Pye joining us to talk Fractured Fairytales. Katie and I did a fun “Would You Rather?” interview.
Let’s see what she had to say!
Would you rather have waffles every day for the rest of your life or get a new book every day for the rest of your life?
A book: My writing might be creative, but my food tastes aren’t! I tend to have the same two breakfast variants every morning while my body protests that it is awake.
Would you rather be a dinosaur or a dragon?
A dragon. I’ve never been particularly good at lighting a fire and it is winter now in New Zealand, so that could be a handy and impressive hack!
Would you rather never eat a taco again or never read a book again?
Never eat a taco. The flavours of a taco can be easily put in a Burrito or Quesadilla, but nothing can replace a good book!
Would you rather read only one book (of your choosing) for the rest of your life or never get to read your favorite book again?
They both sound like bad options! I certainly couldn’t read the same book on repeat after reading a board book ‘Chloe the Car’ about 100 times to my daughter. “Hi. I’m Chloe Car, and I’m going for a drive…” Aargh!
Would you rather own a million books and never get another new one or get a new book every day of your life but you have to give it back as soon as you read it?
I’ve shifted continents too many times to want to keep them. But then, I seldom finish a book to the end…so perhaps I will end up keeping them anyway!
